– No, it’s in India and the film’s overexposed.

Intriguing landscape: the tarmac looks like a soft carpet.

 – No, it’s the lens distorting it.

Was it a moment?

 – No, it was staged.

Is this staged then?

 – No, that was coincidence.

That’s how our conversation went.

It’s all because of our love for photography. But also for other people; especially for other people.

Maybe also for things that are moving around us? For the pure photography movement.

Photographs from the Voice On series were created between 2007–201 during many visits to India, Ukraine, Germany and Portugal. 

Piotr Zbierski (b. 1987, Łódź) studies photography at the Łódź National Film School. Author of three individual exhibitions (White Elephants, Here, Childhood Dreams), participant in collective exhibitions and publications including Lab East and Sensitive Focus. He presented his works at festivals in Łódź, Budapest and Swiss Photo Awards.
